A useful answer deserves a clear trail of evidence.

This is Kimchi-Chan’s template for small research pages. It illustrates the structure; it does not claim a research finding.

Start with the answer. State what the data show in plain language, and distinguish observations from possible explanations.

The question

Define exactly what is being compared: population, place, dates, units and the distinction between correlation and causation.

The evidence

Use a readable chart with labelled axes and units. Make the underlying data downloadable. An interactive control should answer a real question, such as whether a result changes when an outlier is excluded.

How it was calculated

Describe data cleaning, missing values, transformations and sample size. Link the analysis code or show the essential formula.

What this cannot establish

Explain selection effects, confounders, small samples and uncertainty that materially affect the interpretation.
